Prada's Store Displays Are Always Simply Stunning

Prada is a world-renowned luxury fashion company that not only produces beautiful clothing but is also committed to administering resources that benefit society and the environment. With an active presence across all social media platforms, Prada makes sure that it is clear that they are consistently posting and sharing photos and videos of their fashion line and beauty line on their various social media sites. When identifying the platforms that Prada uses, one can see that their social presence is vast. They actively post and share on Instagram, to target the younger generation, as well as TikTok. Prada also continues to have a presence on Facebook, X (formerly known as Twitter), and YouTube. Their Instagram boasts of 33.4 million followers, their TikTok has 1.3 million followers but up to 15.1 million people view and like their content, their X account has 1.9 million followers, Prada’s Facebook has 7.9 million followers, and their YouTube has 323k subscribers but up to 13 million views. Prada also has a presence on Pinterest with a total of 72k followers and with over 10 million monthly viewers. Prada’s Pinterest account varies from the rest of its social media outlets, since it allows for individuals to interact by saving their photos or their different campaigns and accessories into the individual's own Pinterest account.  Individuals are also frequently interacting with their other social media accounts through polls, commenting, and interactive content that Prada consistently posts. In addition, the #Prada slogan is available for users to use when they purchase from Prada and share their purchase on social media. 

Across these platforms, Prada shares the same fashion-based content. They constantly post and promote their brand on Instagram featuring their luxury clothes, makeup, and accessories. YouTube is their least used social site since they usually post their longest content. Fashion walk videos and their different campaigns which take time to create and develop, are posted weekly on their YouTube. Along with Instagram, Facebook and TikTok have beauty and fashion content posted daily by Prada, whether that is sharing about their current collection or promoting the environment. All across their social media outlets, Prada shares photos with reputable celebrities promoting their company by wearing their designs at certain glamorous events. 

While Prada is known for its fashion and beauty lines that they promote across social media, they also promote their love for sustainable and environmentally friendly products. Since 2019, Prada has recently encouraged their consumers to consider the positive and negative impacts fashion can have on the environment. Prada uses this environmentally innovative incorporation of sustainability into their products to show that they are committed to benefit the welfare of society and the environment. For example, Prada is supporting education for ocean conservation through their partnership with National Geographic. Through this partnership one can see how this for-profit company balances their need to bring in revenue, while showing that they are responsible corporate citizens. This benefits the organization in many ways. One way is to show their desire to make the world a better place and to protect the environment. Prada ethically balances their loyalties to their consumers and the environment, as well as to their shareholders and employees.
